Congratulations to PC 575 Phil Parkin for winning the Community Police Officer of the Year award this week.
The citation commended Phil for the work that he and his team have done across the area over the last year. Singled out for particular praise was the work on the issue of speeding around our local schools.
Phil retires this month after 30 years in the Police service. We wish him the best for the future and wish to record our thanks for the work he has done in our local area.
