Consultation on Derbyshire’s Rights of Way Improvement Plan - Draft Statement of Action 2012 to 201

Posted on August 14 2012

Derbyshire County Council is asking for views on their latest proposals for improving the network of paths and trails across Derbyshire over the next five years.

They produced their first Rights of Way Improvement Plan (ROWIP) in 2007. It included a statement of the action they proposed to take for the period from 2007 to 2012. They are now revising that statement of action to go through the next five years to 2017.

Derbyshire County Council would like your views on what they are trying to achieve and whether you, or the organisation that you represent, agrees with the way that they have prioritised the aims and identified needs in the draft statement of action or if there are any proposed actions that are missing.

The public consultation is open for a 12 week period running from the 6 August to 29 October 2012. The final document will then be published later in the year. Derbyshire County Council want to encourage as many people as possible to view the draft statement of action on line and complete the questionnaire.

Paper copies of the questionnaire are available in libraries and in countryside visitor centres. Paper copies or alternative formats of the documents can also be requested by contacting one of Derbyshire County Council by telephone (Gill on 01629 539656 and Claire on 01629 539652) or by emailing .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address) or .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address)
