Burgundy bins arrive in Morton

The burgundy bins, branded under the ‘Kerb It Recycle It’ logo, arrived in Morton on 16th June. The burgundy bin replaces your blue box and bag. You can keep your blue box or take it to a recycling centre.
The first collection for the new bin is on Friday 1st July 2011.
The inner box of the recycling bin is for:
- newspapers and magazines
- paper
- telephone directories
- catalogues
- junk mail, glossy pamphlets & white envelopes
The main part of the recycling bin is for:
- card packaging & brown envelopes
- food tins & drink cans
- plastic bottles
- mixed glass bottles & jars
- mixed textiles & clothes (in a carrier bag)
- small household batteries (in a carrier bag)
