A distraction burglary occurred on Hallfieldgate Lane, Shirland, today at around 1.55pm.
One male offender came to the door and stated he was fitting fencing at the bottom of the garden. He showed the resident where and during this time another offender has entered and searched within.
He is described as being white, around 5’5” tall, thin build, clean shaven, wearing a cap. He arrived in a white van with ladders on the top.

Police are reminding the public and shop workers to be vigilant against counterfeit notes after several incidents of counterfeit notes being used in the Alfreton area on Thursday 7 February.
